One known continent, ringed by a sea that thins into nothing. The map lies a little (no true map of this age exists), and at its heart is a place it refuses to name.

- Eshvale the Eshkin A great canyon split through the eastern range, where the night-folk read the world by echo.
- Aethwild the Vryn Open wind-country roamed by the Vryn and their moving camps along the Wind-Roads.
- Sylvan Spires the Sylvaen Solitary needles of rock crowned with observatories, where star and sound are read together.
- Aurheim the Auren The high plateau where the sun first touches the world, watched by a chain of signal-towers.
- Myrmar the Myrren Southwestern fenland of fog and tombs, where the Myrren keep the dead and the cures of the world.
